Ukrainian books in the Library of Akureyri

Thursday August 24 is the national holiday of Ukraine. On this occasion, members of the local Ukrainian community plan to give 40 new books in that language for children and adults to the library and present them.

On August 24th, at 17:00 the Library of Akureyri will hold an event where Ukrainian books will be presented. During the presentation 40 new books from Ukraine for children and adults will be handed to the library by members of the local Ukrainian community.

The event is open for all and will be in English and Ukrainian. We’ll be happy to have a discussion and hear your opinions about the books after the presentation. Coffee and cakes will be also provided.
