Awarded films at the library

Dear view-thirsty patrons! Like you know there were quite a few new DVDs coming into our collection and some of them have already gotten awards.

Just the other day, the BAFTAs were delivered in UK where the blockbuster Oppenheimer won in most categories: best picture, best director, best actor, best original music and more. Also, it should be mentioned that the films you see on the included picture are all nominated to the Oscars this year and that most famous film festival will happen on March 10th.

Just over 2000 DVDs are available in our library and you can find stuff to everyone's liking, both on the 1st floor and children's department. We also are very happy to say that this year about 250 films have been borrowed from us, some more than once or twice and still over 10 months left of 2024!

The film department is getting tighter and hopefully the current system is to your liking. If you have anything to add or want to see changes ... please let us know.
