Alma: Legal depository and AMLAN

Dear patrons! The Municipal Library is a legal depository library, which means that it is supposed to keep one copy of everything ever printed here in Iceland.

Given the occasion, we want to point out that material marked with AMLAN (code for legal depositories) in the library's computer system Alma, is not possible to borrow. These copies are solely for use here in the library. This is also valid for other libraries in the country which wish to get AMLAN holdings from us through inter-library loans.
