Summer is here?

Dear patrons! We all know the best weather is always here in Akureyri ... and people often take out their bikes to use over summer. Bikestands are found in front of the main entrance of the library (few steps from the freedge).

Of course we recommend people using this method of travelling or the two legs most of us are lucky enough to have, but if you for some reason aren't able to come to us in the best weather ... then Penninn Eymundsson bookstore has a return drawer for books from us. The store got longer opening hours and you're of course free to use this service.

Then we have loads of walking- and biking-trails-books, books for your health and more to let us feel good, physically and mentally.
