History of Akureyri for free!

We want to point out that these magnificent books on the history of Akureyri, the 4th and 5th volume, are available for free at the library.

They are written in Icelandic but there are lot of pictures in them which in their own tell a beautiful story of the Capital of the north.

Please feel free to come to the library and grab a copy or two of both volumes.

For those who understand Icelandic, this is considered by many to be the best reference about the history of Akureyri!
