"The museum of lost bookmarks and the readers who lost them" is a collection of lost bookmarks that have been left here at the library through the years.

Dear patrons! We all know the best weather is always here in Akureyri ... and people often take out their bikes to use over summer. Bikestands are found in front of the main entrance of the library (few steps from the freedge).

Since the event "International Kitchen 2024" was such a success yesterday (about 750 visitors came and tasted food from 18 countries), the quiz is dedicated to that!

Dear patrons and foodlovers! Even though the library itself will be closed on First Day of Summer, a feast will be held this day (25th of April, First Day of Summer) in the form of International Kitchen, with food from 18 countries!!
