Nýr vefur á ensku / A new subdomain in English

Tekinn hefur verið í notkun nýr enskur undirvefur heimasíðunnar Akureyri.is. English below.

Tilgangurinn er að bæta upplýsingagjöf til nýrra íbúa sveitarfélagsins og annarra sem hafa ekki náð fullum tökum á íslensku. Á vefnum eru ýmsar gagnlegar upplýsingar um opinbera þjónustu og fleira sem lýtur að búsetu í sveitarfélaginu. 

Skipt er yfir á enska vefinn með því að smella á fánann uppi í hægra horninu eða með þessari slóð: https://www.akureyri.is/en

Akureyri municipality is happy to announce that we have launched a new subdomain in English that is specifically aimed at providing useful information to those of our residents that have not yet fully mastered Icelandic and/or have recently moved to the town.

You can switch to the English version by clicking the English flag in the top right corner of the main website, or by using the direct URL:  https://www.akureyri.is/en. The English version has a Google Translate button in the upper right corner (or the "hamburger" on mobile) with several selected languages. 

We hope this new subdomain will make it easier to find the information and services you need, but the Intercultural Office is always willing to help if you still have questions.
